Chiara Cammarota completed her PhD in the Physics Department, Sapienza University of Rome, in 2009, and was a Post-Doc in the Institut de Physique Theorique, CEA, Saclay from November 2009 - March 2013. In August that year she returned to the Physics Department, Sapienza University of Rome, as a Researcher until September 2015 when she joined King's College London as a Lecturer in Disordered Systems in the Mathematics Department. She became a Senior Lecturer in September 2019.

Chiara is an affiliate of the Simons Collaboration on "Cracking the glass problem".
