Chris Howard is a qualified solicitor specialising in Construction practice.  Chris was formerly a Senior MSc Lecturer in the Centre of Construction Law, having worked in professional legal education for many years previously teaching Land Law, Company Law and Contract Law on GDL and LLB programmes.

As Director of Professional Legal Education, Chris oversees a number of education initiatives including professional and executive education, specialist qualification programmes and liaison with firms, chambers, and industry stakeholders.  In this capacity, he works closely with the Director of Clinical Legal Education and the Director of Professional Skills. He also coordinates his efforts with the work of the Law School’s Careers & Employability team to ensure that the School provides a full service of support for the career goals of all our undergraduate and postgraduate students.
