Biography

Claire Sharpe is a Professor of Renal Medicine at King’s College London/King’s College Hospital. She graduated in Medicine from University College London and, after specialising in Renal Medicine, commenced her PhD at King’s College London in 1997 with a Kidney Research UK Clinical Training Fellowship. In 2002 she received an NIHR Clinician Scientist Award and completed her specialist clinical training in 2004. In 2009 she was awarded an NHS/HEFCE Clinical Senior Lectureship and currently works as a clinical academic splitting her time between research, teaching and clinical activity.
