Biography

His research focuses on the immunological mechanisms behind the onset of inflammation and on strategies to manipulate regulatory T cells to induce or restore immunological tolerance. His work applied in the clinic contributed to the development of advanced therapies for the treatment of patients receiving transplant or with autoimmune disorders
