From 2006-10 I read Classics as an undergraduate at Oxford, (initially at Greyfriars Hall, and subsequently at Regent’s Park College), after which I took a Master’s at Magdalen College (2011), where I also completed a DPhil thesis on the relationship between the Ancient Greek Novels and Latin poetry (2015). During this time, I also held a Stipendiary Lectureship in Latin Literature at Corpus Christi College (2014-15). From there I spent three years as a Junior Research Fellow at Clare Hall, Cambridge (2015-18), and one year as a Teaching Associate in Greek Language and Literature at the Faculty of Classics, Cambridge (2018-19). I joined the Department of Classics at King’s in September 2019.

I teach a wide range of modules across Greek and Latin literature, ranging from Early Greek Hexameter poetry to later literature of the Roman Imperial period.
