Mr Dan Liu has been a Research Associate with Project Alpha since Sept 2017, where he studies China’s role in arms control, proliferation and international sanctions regimes. Dan also studies the application of open-source intelligence techniques.
Dan was a senior policy officer and an analyst in the Australian Public Service where he supported strategic policy formulation, humanitarian operations planning, international engagement and military exercises.
Dan holds a BS/BA from the University of Sydney, and has recently completed a MA Conflict, Security and Development at King’s College London. He has also completed Peace and Humanitarian Operations training through the Australian Defence Force Warfighting Centre.
