Biography

David M. Berry is Professor of Digital Humanities at the University of Sussex. His most recent book is Digital Humanities: Knowledge and Critique in a Digital Age (2017) and the collectively authored work Bifurquer: Il n'y a pas d’alternative (2020). His recent work is on explainability, algorithms and automated decision systems. His is currently finishing a book on the “Idea of a University” in a digital age.
