Dominic is a clinical academic; he holds a PhD in Developmental Psychopathology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy). He is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
Dominic presently manages a MRC project to develop and test an iCBT app to treat adolescents with PTSD. He also works clinically at the Michael Rutter Centre for Children and Young People at the Maudsley Hospital.
Dominic’s publications detail the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), focusing particularly on the influence of childhood maltreatment and perinatal factors.

Expertise and Public Engagement
Dominic has served as Clinical Lead for the NGO Action for Child Trauma International, overseeing clinical operations in the Middle East and East Africa.
