Dorothy completed her PhD at the LSE where she studied some of the key influences which have together shaped and changed the notion of audit quality within the regulatory, professional and academia domains, over time. Her current research interests build on this work through examining how the rising trend of economization within society shapes notions such as audit quality and separately, the impact of quality review scores by regulatory bodies. Prior to academia, Dorothy worked in the profession as an auditor of predominantly listed companies, and also as the head of finance within a large international group.
