Ana is a Post-Doctoral researcher in the Centre for the Developing Brain at School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences. Her research focuses on investigating the spectrum of brain phenotypes that occur in Down’s Syndrome (DS) early in life. Using both human in-vivo fetal and neonatal MR imaging and mouse models of DS the goal of this research is to improve our understanding of the genotypic/phenotypic relationship in DS, elucidate clinically relevant imaging biomarkers and translate such findings to the clinic.
