Dr Fernando Da Cruz Vasconcellos is Director of Investment Strategy and Intellectual Property (IP) Valuation at Coller IP. He has extensive experience, in London and internationally, in financial modelling and valuing businesses, including intellectual property and intangible assets, particularly for capital equity funds, investors and businesses seeking to raise capital and secure investment.
He is interested in successfully connecting funds and investors with innovation-driven business opportunities in the UK and Brazil. He acts as a Rapporteur and organising member of the British-Brazilian Conversa Meeting, where he has the opportunity of co-organising the event with Alan Charlton, Former British Ambassador to Brazil and Founder of the British-Brazilian Conversa. This event seeks to foster co-operation between the United Kingdom and Brazil on global economic issues, bilateral business, energy, science and technology, education and culture.
Fernando is a regular invited speaker and lecturer at several institutions, including the Brazilian Embassy in London, FACAMP University in Brazil, London Business School (LBS), University of Cambridge Judge Business School, on topics related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and valuation in private equity and investments.
Fernando joined the King’s Brazil Institute as an Affiliate in January 2019.
