Biography
Thomas Hyde studies at St Anne’s College, Oxford and then as a postgraduate at the Royal Academy of Music, London. He completed his doctorate at Oxford in 2008. He combines working as a freelance composer with teaching, and has held a fellowship at the RAM (2001-2) and a visiting lectureship in composition at City University (2009-13). He joined King’s in September 2016, combing this post with a senior non-stipendiary lectureship at Worcester College, Oxford. He is on the advisory board of the Presteigne Festival and Chair of the Lucille Graham Trust.
