Dr Eglė Butkevičiūtė

Research Assistant in Immunology & Skin multi-omics

Biography

Eglė did her BSc Immunology and Infection at University College London in 2012-2015, with a focus on tumour immunology, allergies and autoimmune diseases. She then did MSc Immunology of Infectious Diseases course at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2015-2016 and followed with a PhD during which she investigated innate immune responses in BCG-vaccinated infants and adults. In October 2022, Eglė joined Dr Francesca Capon's Skin Inflammation Genetics Group at King's College London where she explores transcriptomic signatures in individuals with palmoplantar pustulosis and signatures induced by IL-36 signalling pathways.
