Elena Martinescu has a background in organizational behaviour, and in social and organizational psychology. She holds a PhD from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Elena’s doctoral research has focused on understanding gossip in the workplace from the perspectives of individuals who are involved in the gossip process as gossip senders, recipients, and targets. 

Elena has experience in teaching courses related to organizational behaviour, and as a master and bachelor thesis supervisor.
