I studied Biological Sciences at the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, graduating in 2017, and completed my Master's degree at the same institution in 2019.

I completed my PhD at the Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil, in 2024, focusing on the development of 3D bioprinted models of neural tissue. During my PhD, I undertook a one-year visiting student placement at the University of Oxford, where I also held a postdoctoral position for one year, until 2025. In January 2026, I joined the Lieberam and Burrone groups as a Postdoctoral Research Associate to investigate the role of specific mutations in the pathology of bipolar disorder, using co-cultures of excitatory and inhibitory neurons derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells.
