Biography
As a Student Engagement Officer (Geography), Liz facilitates a range of student support activities across the School with responsibilities encompassing careers, alumni, events and buddying schemes. She supports departmental academic leads in coordinating responses to annual feedback exercises and holding Student-Staff Liaison Committees (SSLCs). She also supports the Geography Internship module (PGT) and acts as programmes support to the PhD cohort.
Her duties include:
- planning induction meetings and graduation events
- circulating student events and opportunities via newsletters
- supporting student-led events
- managing departmental social media as pertaining to students
- servicing Student-Staff Liaison Committees (SSLCs)
- supporting student surveys (eg NSS, PTES and EvaSys)
