Biography
Ivanka Sevrieva is a Research Associate in the lab of Professor Malcolm Irving at the Randall Centre. She holds a BSc and MSc in Biotechnology from Hochschule Mannheim (Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, Germany) and a PhD in Muscle Biophysics from King’s College London. Ivanka’s current research focuses on developing novel methods to introduce fluorescent probes into live heart muscle cells and study the molecular mechanisms that govern the heartbeat.
