Responsibilities
James is the primary point of contact for all Operations queries to the Department of Physics. This includes:
- Working closely with Department Manager and the rest of the administration team to support to Head of Department and academic staff
- Human resource queries, including recruitment, contracts, and academic probation
- Space (office, teaching and communal space)
- Estates (repairs, maintenance, furniture, etc.
- Invoicing and purchasing support
- Departmental promotional literature, and marketing
