Biography

Jayne supports the development and integration of creative practices across King's Faculties in partnership with King's Culture.  

Jayne joined King's in 2008 as communications and outreach lead for the Department of War Studies. She worked on research-based exhibitions and performance including Traces of War Dance Installation with Candoco Dance, a series of embodied practice workshops and performances as part of an AHRC-funded Project:  Art & Reconciliation and more recently a 3 year pan- European ERASMUS Award: Multiform Pedagogy in Arts, Health and Wellbeing Education. From 2018-2022 Jayne was Programming and Engagement Manager for the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy's Exchange space, where she was responsible for curating creative content to enhance education and research.

She trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, teaches on the creative practice module on the Medical Humanities Undergraduate programme at the University of Exeter and is completing an apprenticeship at Body Aware studio in North Devon.
