Following a BSc at King’s College London, Dr Ho completed a MSc in Virology at Imperial College and spent time working as a research assistant investigating respiratory infections (rhinoviruses, influenza) and their effects on respiratory disease (asthma, COPD). She went on to conduct a PhD at The University of Nottingham where her research focused on immune responses to influenza viruses (including H5N1 (bird flu) H1N1 (swine flu)).

She joined King’s in 2015 as a postdoctoral researcher, investigating the effects of a novel fungal toxin at oral mucosae.
