Jennifer Klein is the Chief Strategy and Policy Officer at TIME’S UP. She is an expert on domestic and global women’s policy issues, and also teaches these issues, most recently at Georgetown University Law Center.
Jennifer was a Senior Advisor on Women’s Issues to the Hillary for America campaign and transition team. Prior to the campaign, she helped Secretary Clinton develop and implement No Ceilings, an initiative at the Clinton Foundation to evaluate progress for women and girls since the 1995 Beijing Conference on Women and to advance gender equality around the world.
From 2009 to 2012, Jennifer was a Deputy and Senior Advisor in the Office of Global Women's Issues within the Office of the Secretary at the US Department of State. In this capacity, she worked on a range of foreign policy issues related to the advancement of women, including global health, girls' education, and gender integration in U.S. foreign policy.
From February 1993 through January 1999, she worked at The White House in a dual appointment as First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton’s senior domestic policy advisor and a staff member for the President on the Domestic Policy Council.
