Biography
Rogelio García is a postdoctoral researcher and a trained engineer with a solid background in electrical and mechanical engineering and an expert in deep learning. He has conducted several projects at the intersection of AI and the life sciences. His current focus lies in the biomedical applications of deep learning, and his research interests encompass metaheuristic optimisation algorithms, biologically inspired artificial intelligence, computer vision, and metagenomics.
