Biography
Dr Jongmin Yu is Postdoctoral Research Associate at King’s College London. He received his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in 2020. He was a visiting researcher at the School of Electrical Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences at Curtin University in 2019. After his PhD, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
He has actively participated in nationally-funded research projects for developing Deep learning-based computer vision methods. Presently, His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, pattern recognition, and mathematical understanding of these. His research outputs have been published in high-impact machine learning and artificial intelligence journals and international conferences, including TNNLS, TII, ICRA, and IROS.
