Katerina is responsible for supporting programme delivery to King’s Global Health Partnerships in Somaliland and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Additionally, her role involves leading on volunteer recruitment, onboarding, inductions, trip preparation and debriefs. She supports development of funding proposals for the two programmes and assists on monitoring, evaluation data collection and review.
She joined KGHP in 2018 after graduating with an MA in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College London. Having worked for various UNESCO delegations in Paris, France, as well as in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Athens, Greece, she has considerable experience in diplomatic approaches to peace making, international organisation administration, community engagement and research. Her research interests focus around the efficiency of humanitarian aid, aid conditionality, local ownership resilience thinking and linkages with long-term development.
