Biography

Within science education Katherine has worked as a teacher, assessment developer, educational researcher, and teacher educator. She is particularly fascinated by chemistry and the intricacies of learning and assessment.

Research

Katherine's doctoral research explores why people value learning chemistry, with a focus on intrinsic forms of value. Previous research projects include Talking to Learn, which investigated the development of argumentation in four secondary science departments.
