Lecturer in Chemistry Education
Within science education, Katherine has worked as a teacher, assessment developer, educational researcher, and teacher educator. She is particularly fascinated by chemistry and the intricacies of learning and assessment.
Katherine's doctoral research explores why people value learning chemistry, with a focus on intrinsic forms of value. Previous research projects include Talking to Learn, which investigated the development of argumentation in four secondary science departments.
