Biography

Maria Carmen Diaz is an Andalusian Researcher and Scientific Illustrator originally from a little fishing town in Cádiz. She has worked as a researcher in laboratories in both Spain and the UK, and after her second postdoc in the Francis Crick Institute in London, she joined the Stramer Lab at King's in 2020 as a fly technician, to continue working with fruit flies and live microscopy.
