Maria obtained a MSc in Nutrition at King's College London in 2018. Shortly after, she started working for the department of Nutritional Sciences as a research assistant, working across different projects supervised by Dr W.Hall and Dr S.Berry. She has been involved in the conduction of a human trial investigating the impact of commonly consumed interesterified fats on cardio-metabolic health. She is developing her technical and analytical skills in short-chain and long-chain fatty acids analysis through Gas Chromatography. Maria is interested in pursuing a more advanced career in nutrition research and aims to undertake a doctoral programme.
