Miss Marzena ‘Marge’ Zdrojkowska

Research Administrator and PA to Prof Louise Howard

Biography

Marge graduated with an MA in Modern History from King’s College London in 2019, after which she worked within the Exams Department as well at the Cicely Saunders Institute of Palliative Care Policy and Rehabilitation at King’s, before joining the Section of Women’s Mental Health as research administrator in August 2019.

Marge deals with all administrative aspects of research within the Section of Women’s Mental Health as well as provides secretarial support to Professor Howard. Marge is responsible for project administration and support, co-ordination of internal and external meetings and conferences, engagement with stakeholders and study participants, processing of financial paperwork and managing and monitoring of budgets, as well as providing diary management for Principal Investigators.

Marge is also the Department Telecom Coordinator.

Section of Women’s Mental Health

The Section of Women’s Mental Health (SWMH) undertakes mental health services and policy research with a primary focus on women’s mental health. We carry out global research into the gendered determinants of mental health problems and the needs of women with mental health problems using epidemiological and qualitative methods and develop and evaluate interventions to meet those needs and inform health policy. Our work contributes to policymaking and healthcare practice both nationally and internationally.
