Project Title: How Do Managers Make Decisions on Work Organization

Bo-YYi’s thesis is about how managers in Taiwanese IT industry make decisions on work organization. By applying the theory of institutional logics and qualitative approaches, he is going to reveal the managerial decision-making processes. He also has other research topics presented in conference such as Work, Employment, and Society Conference 2018. He is a member of British Sociological Association.
Before Bo-Yi started his research job, he worked as a congressional assistant responsible for drafting bills and oral questions related to national economic and financial affairs. Bo-Yi also co-founded a social enterprise in Taiwan and dealt with the poverty issue in his home country. Now he is an active member of Formosa Salon and organizing series of dialogues on public issues.
