Project Title: Has Corporate Governance of Banks Improved After the Crisis: A Comparative Study of UK and Malaysia
Faiz Mizan holds Bachelor in Accountancy from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) (2016) and MSc in Accounting and Financial Management from University of York (2017). His research interest lies in studying the extent to which the corporate governance of banks and other financial institutions improve after the global financial crises and their association with banks’ risk and performance.
Faiz's research has been published in the International Journal of Economics and Management. He currently employed as researcher and lecturer at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, one of the leading research universities in Malaysia. He was a recipient of Tan Sri Arshad Ayub Award for his undergraduate achievement at UiTM. He currently holds Postgraduate Research International Scholarship by King’s College London.
