Partha Dutta obtained his PhD from the University of Southampton, UK. His doctoral thesis is about computationally efficient algorithms for automated coordination and control in distributed AI systems. After working as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Southampton, Partha has spent more than a decade in industrial R&D, leading research teams, setting up industry-academia collaborative research programs across multiple geographies and developing AI powered applications for the aerospace, energy, and mining sectors.
- Optimization of large-scale industrial systems
- Complex systems modelling and simulation
- Decentralised autonomous coordination
- Adaptive/Automated decision support
- Reinforcement Learning
Partha is looking for talented PhD candidates to work with him on Artificial Intelligence related topics for solving some of the most important problems of modern society using techniques from machine learning, data-driven modelling, digital twins, and automated decision support. Interested candidates should email him their CV, a brief expression of research interest and any previous publications.
