Biography
Pippa Gibson obtained her BSc in Human Nutrition from the University of Surrey in 2010. She was awarded a Children’s Liver Disease Foundation studentship in September 2012 with Dr. J. Bernadette Moore at the University of Surrey, focusing on the role of vitamin D in the progression of paediatric non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in collaboration with King’s College Hospital. Pippa previously investigated the effect of dietary fats on cardiovascular health, and currently works within the Diet and Gastrointestinal Health group where she is investigating dietary supplementation on gastrointestinal health.
