Biography
Priyanka Prakash is a Research Assistant at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Sociology from The College of New Jersey and completed her Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University in in 2025. Her medical training has provided a strong foundation in psychiatry, which she integrates with her research to advance the development of interventions aimed at improving mental health outcomes. She is particularly interested in bridging the gap between clinical practice and research to enhance the quality and accessibility of psychiatric care. In her current role, Priyanka contributes to feasibility studies investigating novel and adjunctive treatments for mood disorders, with broader research interests in patient-centered innovations, digital and point-of-care tools, and expanding access to evidence-based treatments in affective disorders.
