Biography

I am Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry where I am also head of the Department and Academic Lead for the CAMHS Clinical Academic Group in King’s Health Partners. I am a Senior Investigator in the National Institute of Health and Care Research.

Expertise and Public Engagement

My external roles include: Chair of the European ADHD Guidelines Group, member of the Steering Committee for Eunethydis (the European Hyperkinetic Disorder Network), Chair of the Mental Health Study Group for Autistica and past Senior Clinical Advisor to the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).

    Online Parent Training for the Initial Management of ADHD referral (OPTIMA)

    We have created a mobile phone app that provides advice and access to a set of parenting tools that can be easily provided at the point that families seek help.

    This project looks to assess the feasibility and acceptability of embedding an e-platform for remote mood monitoring and life event tracking within schools.
