Biography

Qiyun joined the Department of Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Sciences, IoPPN, KCL as a postdoctoral research associate In January 2020. His works focus on discovering and validating EEG biomarkers across age groups of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Qiyun received his PhD from South China University of Technology (2019), MSc from University of Southern California (2015) and BSc from Beihang University (2013).

Research Interests

  • Discovering and validating EEG biomarkers across age groups of ASD.
  • Understanding how EEG biomarkers relate to outcome in autistic brain in response to candidate treatment and underpinning mechanisms.
  • Developing novel digital-pharmacological tools to stratify ASD and identify individuals most likely to respond to potential treatments.
