
Rachel Hesketh
Research Fellow
Biography
Rachel is a Research Fellow at the Policy Institute, working on research projects spanning spanning social and economic policy and a particular interest in local economic development and industrial strategy. Rachel has recently returned from a secondment at the Greater London Authority (GLA), where she led on developing the Local Industrial Strategy for London. Through her roles at both the Policy Institute and the GLA Rachel has experience of managing research projects and analysing research findings with policy relevance in mind. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and a master’s degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics.
