Biography
Dr Rebecca Garvey joined the Centre for Affective Disorders in August 2025. She is working as Clinical Research Lead for the NIHR Mental Health Translational Research Collaboration. She completed her training in General Adult Psychiatry at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust prior to taking up her role with the team. During her training she has worked in a variety of clinical health settings including a post with the National Affective Disorders service. In addition to her role at KCL she is an Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist at SLaM. Prior to medical school she worked as a mental health nurse on inpatient wards and as a care coordinator in a community team.
