Biography
Roksana Sobolak joined King’s College London in October 2025 as a LISS-DTP funded PhD student. Her doctoral research focuses on ADHD and women’s health, with particular attention to experiences during the menopausal transition. Her work aims to address key gaps in the literature at the intersection of neurodivergence and women’s health, contributing to more inclusive and relevant health research.
Her research interests include neurodivergence (particularly ADHD) and women’s health across the lifespan. She also has a strong interest in open science and research culture, particularly in relation to transparency, accessibility, and equity in academic research.
Prior to joining King’s, she was a Research Fellow at the University of Greenwich from 2024 to 2025. During this role, she worked on a project identifying accessible opportunities for feedback across the research cycle, with a focus on supporting marginalised researchers and early career researchers.
She is currently undertaking her PhD at King’s under the supervision of Professors Eleanor Dommett, Juliet Foster and Myra Hunter. Alongside her doctoral studies, she works with the Framework for Open and Reproducible Research Training (FORRT) as a FORRT Steward. In this role, she contributes to a range of projects, including the replication database and the development of open-access lecture materials and lesson plans on open and reproducible research topics.
