Research Associate in Psychology
Dr Evans is a psychologist interested in peoples’ experiences of health care services and health related communications, as well as a mixed methods researcher experienced in both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Dr Evans is interested in using psychological theory to understand health behaviour, healthcare interactions and to design and evaluate interventions to optimise people’s health and health care service delivery. She has experience working on research projects in a variety of settings: paediatric and adult health care; primary, secondary and tertiary care; cancer (prevention, early detection, staging) and critical care (paediatric intensive care retrieval).
