Research experience
After graduating from medical school, Sameen moved to Canada and started working in clinical research in various capacities. She worked as a research assistant at St. Michael's Hospital, performing neuropsychological tests and maintaining clinic database. She then completed a research analyst diploma from Humber College with honours. Sameen then worked at Canada's most research-intensive paediatric hospital; Sickkids. In 2021, Sameen began working for LMC Healthcare as a clinical research coordinator. She managed several late phase trials including COVID vaccine studies, diabetes studies and obesity related drug trials.
In 2022, Sameen moved to the UK and joined the department of Women & Children's Health at King's College London to work alongside Dr. Paul Taylor and team. She is currently responsible for coordinating and managing different aspects of the UPBEAT trial and the UNiCoRN study.
