Biography
Sarah is a senior research fellow in the Health Protection Research Unit in Evaluation and Behavioural Science and the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Bristol. She has a behavioural scientist with expertise in health psychology, intervention development and qualitative research methods. Much of her work focuses on developing interventions to support infection control (vaccine uptake and sexual health) and physical activity. She has experience and expertise in health psychology, public health, intervention development, optimisation and evaluation, and qualitative research methods.
Sarah leads a national cross-HPRU Behavioural Science Network, which aims to advance the integration of behavioural science into public health research across the HPRUs. She is also co-lead of the Centre for Applied Respiratory Research Impact and Innovation Prevention Theme, Co-Director of the BNSSG Immunisation Group Health Integration Team (BIG HIT), and Communication and Grant Officer for the European Health Psychology Synergy program.
