Biography
Sotiris Vandoros is Reader (Associate Professor) in Health Economics at King’s Business School, King's College London, and Associate Dean for Doctoral Studies. He is also Adjunct Associate Professor at Harvard University.
He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics, where he has also previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and a Research Fellow.
His fields of interest include health economics and behavioural science. In particular, his research focuses on the impact of economic conditions, shocks and uncertainty on health and health-related behaviours, and on regulation and competition in pharmaceutical markets, studying topics such as the generics paradox and therapeutic substitution.
Sotiris has carried out research for national and international organisations and governments such as the WHO, the NHS, the European Commission and the European Parliament. He has taught on postgraduate programmes at Harvard, King’s College London, LSE, Sorbonne-Cité and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
