Biography

Joining in December 2025, Tess is part of the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London, working as a Research Coordinator for the Centre for Affective Disorders. She also works as a Honorary Research Associate with the Division of Psychiatry at Imperial College London.

She has a first class BSc (Neuroscience & Psychology) and MSc (Translational Neuroscience) from Keele University and Imperial College London respectively. She completed research into the efficacy of psilocybin for treating Major Depressive Disorder, and piloted a novel framework for identifying brain-behaviour relationships in addiction to reveal personalised brain stimulation targets.

She has presented her research at national conferences, winning "Best Psychopharmacology Submission" in her category in 2025 at the BAP.
