Dr Thorsten Wojczewski is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow specialising in Indian foreign and security policy, international relations theory, populism, world order and critical security studies.
Before joining King’s in 2016, Thorsten was a Research Fellow at the German Institute of Global and Area Studies in Hamburg. In addition, he was a Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford and the Institute for Defence Studies & Analyses (IDSA) in New Delhi.
He studied political science and public law at the University of Hamburg and the University of Reading, and completed his PhD in International Relations at the University of Kiel, Germany.
His research has been published in the International Studies Review, Cambridge; Review of International Affairs; and Third World Quarterly, amongst others. He is the author of the book, ‘India’s Foreign Policy Discourse and its Conceptions of World Order: The Quest for Power and Identity’ (London: Routledge, 2018).
