
Dr Virginia Yuk-Chun Lam
Biography
Virginia is a Clinical Fellow working with the Transforming cancer Outcomes through Research (TOUR) team at King’s College London. Following the award of a Chevening Scholarship, she completed an MSc in Advanced Practice (Cancer Care) at the University of Surrey and worked as an oncology nurse at The Royal Marsden. She subsequently trained in medicine at the University of Warwick and is currently undertaking specialty training in Medical Oncology. She has completed clinical rotations across several institutions, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, the Kent Oncology Centre, and St George’s Hospital. She has contributed to peer‑reviewed publications and conference presentations. Her research interests focus on the use of real‑world evidence to improve cancer outcomes, particularly in urological malignancies, and she is planning to commence an MD in October 2026.
