Biography

Vrinda is an immunology researcher with over two years of dedicated experience in cutting-edge cellular therapy. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the prestigious Peter Gorer Department of Immunology, she is fuelled by a passion for innovation and advancement in the field of immunotherapy. At the forefront of her research agenda lies a commitment to combatting complex diseases such as multiple myeloma, cardiac fibrosis, and chronic liver diseases. Leveraging expertise in cellular therapy, She is currently working on a BHF pump prime funded project focussed on developing the next-generation CAR-Treg therapy specifically tailored for inflammatory cardiac diseases. In addition to her work in cellular therapy, she is actively engaged in a MRC IAA funded project aimed at deciphering the intricate links between Nrf2 signalling, immune regulation, and metabolism.
