Biography
Dr Walter Hugo Lopez Pinaya joined King’s in 2018, having previously studied and worked at the Universidade Federal do ABC (São Paulo - Brazil). He is a computer scientist and an engineer with a PhD in Neuroscience and Cognition. He has a long-standing interest in machine learning methods (especially deep learning) and neuroimaging, focusing mainly on leveraging the power of the next-generation of computer-aided diagnosis tools.
