Biography
Dr Wing Lei Wong is the manager of NIHR CRNCC Cluster team. She is responsible for managing Specialty Cluster team and working closely with Specialty Leads and Specialty Groups. Prior to joining NIHR CRNCC, Wing Lei worked in Medical Affairs Department at MSD for over 5 years, where she was Senior Medical Advisor and Subject Matter Expert of diverse therapeutic areas (including Oncology, Vaccines, Infectious Disease and General Medicine). She specialized in medical strategy development and execution, medical project management, real world data generation and scientific data exchange. Before the career move into pharmaceutical industry, Wing Lei spent the majority of her time in teaching and conducting scientific research in academia. In total, she published over 15 papers, on 7 of which she was the lead author.
