Business Continuity & Emergency Contacts and Critical Incident Procedures
Business Continuity
Business Continuity Management (BCM) is a holistic process that identifies potential threats to King's College London and evaulates the potential impact these adverse events would have on the university's objectives and operation if they were realised.
The emergency response and business continuity process provides a framework for building resilience and the capability to respond effectively to business interruptions, ensuring that King's College London is able to continue to deliver world-class teaching and research. The emergency response phase focuses on the protection of life and university property and assets. Business continuity planning ensures strategies are in place to allow King's College London to deliver its objectives during a period of business interruption.
Resources for undertaking business impact analysis and business continuity planning are currently under construction, please refer to your department head for further information on local plans and arrangements, or alterntaively contact Sarah Rowe, Business Continuity Manager sarah.a.rowe@kcl.ac.uk.
