This course is taught using e-learning to allow you to study alongside your full-time employment. Each week there is indicative content available online for you to work through and group activities to undertake. The course lasts for 16 weeks and you will be supported by an e-learning tutor throughout.

Entry requirements
An upper second class honours degree of a UK university, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard obtained after a programme of study extending over not less than three years in a university (or educational institution of university rank), in an appropriate subject is essential. A social work qualification awarded by a UK university, or a qualification of an equivalent standard appropriate to the programme awarded by a university outside the UK that is approved by King’s College London is desirable. Applicants from other mental health professional groups such as occupational therapists, nurses, psychologists or psychiatrists are also eligible to apply. Applicants with no professional qualification, but with clinical or research experience in health or social care, are also eligible to apply. Applicants with personal experiences of using social work or mental health services, or their carers, are also eligible to apply.
